Room One invites one of today’s most admired house icons as Patrick Topping returns. The UK artist’s ascent to the top tier of dance music has been well documented – since signing with Hot Creations in 2013, Topping has been synonymous with gripping hooks and infectious basslines. He’s brought this sound everywhere from Miami to Ibiza, and this May he lands for another set in Room One. He’s joined by one of house music’s most influential artists, Paul Johnson. From Cajual and Relief to Dance Mania and Peacefrog, Johnson’s music has consistently defined Chicago’s house movement. Rounding off the bill is our own resident and digger of techno and house in all forms, Terry Francis.
Over in Room Two, Melé showcases his defining Club Bad party banner. The UK artist brings an energetic flair to house music, and his parties demonstrate this with some of the country’s most exciting fresh talents. For his first Room Two takeover, he invites Adam Port to join him. A key part of the Berlin imprint Keinemusik, Port joins following the release of his collaborative ‘You Are Safe’ LP from last year. Resident DJ of Liverpool’s Abandon Silence night Andrew Hill finally rounds off the bill.
