Basstone is a brand new party coming to Ministry of Sound on Saturday February 3rd. Headlining the much anticipated launch in The Box, 103 and The Loft are the likes of Volkoder, T2, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Tom Shorterz, Marcus Nasty, Electronic You, Kort and many more.
Basstone is for all your baseline needs, with a healthy dose of garage flavours also thrown in each month. It’s a party obsessed with bass and beats, sleazy grooves and swaggering sounds. IT’s perfectly at home at Ministry of Sound, which famously has one of the most punchy and visceral sound systems in any club anywhere.
Brazillian headliner Volkoder has released his hot house cuts on labels like Hot Creations and Toolroom and has had support from DJs in the know such as Marco Carola and Carl Cox. He brings his energetic sound with support from T2, who has topped the charts and worked with everyone from Craig David to Dizzie Rascal, as well as Rinse FM host and underground Birmingham player Tom Shorterz.
Classic garage sounds come from the legendary MC Luck & MC Neat while another Rinse star and long time player Marcus Nasty brings his bombastic brew of garage, tribal and house sounds with plenty of bass.
Add in many more dexterous DJs covering plenty of musical ground and Basstone is exactly the sort of new addition London needs.
