WEIRDS:
One of THE best bands in the UK right now! Weirds have been destroying venues across the UK for the two years with their blistering sonic assault of motorik-driven, druggy grunge. NME described their live show as ‘Like a vulture ravaging a corpse.’, but beneath the fuzz and sprawling psycho-tropic breakdowns, lies a knack for melody and structure…
Their debut album ‘Swarmculture’ was released on 26th May via Alcopop Records.

BAD NERVES:
Buzzing to have these guys on the bill finally. This East London band have built up a huge following in a pretty short space of time, and already released some proper classics. Think “frenetic, fast-paced and lo-fi punk” as DIY put it when reviewing their most recent single – Radio Punk.
‘Sitting somewhere between Charlie Moon & The Moonhearts and Ty Segall, “Radio Punk” has all the hallmarks of a power pop jam but with a distinctive garage-rock feel. It is a very decisive track for a band in their formative stages, combining brash vocals with jagged guitar and a simplistic but incredibly effective backbeat. It has been a tough time for guitar bands of late but as Bad Nerves have demonstrated, a little rock and roll never hurt anyone’ – The Line Of Best Fit.
