Customs 7 hour DJ set at | 2nd December
Based in London, Customs is a DJ trio behind underground parties, deep listening sessions and distinctive, memorable journeys for some of the world’s best radio and mix series.
Guest sets for Dekmantel, Resident Advisor, NTS, Dublab and Red Light Radio have caught recent attention.
But for 3 years Customs have been doing things differently in the city. Parties at secret or DIY spots – often announced on the day – bringing underground sounds from Amsterdam – Melbourne – Johannesburg – Tokyo – Vancouver to London. Past guests are all scene-makers now getting the recognition they deserve: Orpheu The Wizard, Jamie Tiller, John Goméz, Chee Shimizu, Len Leise and Jan Schulte included.
Feeling it all out with a residency at Brilliant Corners, Customs play expansive sets roaming through ambient dreamscapes, unplaceable drum machine workouts, raw island soul and pulsing disco rhythms – always keeping a smile on the face, the heart afloat and a dance floor on its toes.
Now they come to Ninety One for their debut 7 hour set at the new space.
