This Halloween on October 27th, much loved London venue The Steelyard is to be transformed into a unique Festival Freakshow.
ByDay ByNight is going to make it a halloween to remember with its biggest event of the year thanks to top house and tech guests Daniel Bortz, Tom Demac, OC & Verde and Kalyde. Head down to the depths of inner London on this night and you’ll find an exhibition of biological rarities that can be found dancing to the beat of the city.
The 1000+ capacity space is beneath three railway arches and boasts an industrial feel, exposed brick and a steel crane. Playing out across two warehouse rooms, the party will be brought to life with themed and immersive production, customised lights and lasers plus all sorts of ghoulish surprises. The dress code is Freakshow Chic so you can expect to be submerged in a sea of oddball characters that will make for a visual treat to go with the musical delights.
They are provided by headliner Daniel Bortz, a prolific German with a deep house and minimal techno sound that comes on labels like Exit Strategy and Permanent Vacation. He’s joined by Aus and Hypercolour DJ and producer Tom Demac, whose weird and wonderful house ranges from deep to freaky.
Next come OC & Verde one of the hottest acts in house right now after EPs on labels like Bedrock, Knee Deep In Sound and on Viva’s new techno leaning label, iVAV. Bristol based house innovator Kalyde from labels like Blank completes the picture.
Cameron Jack, Ollie White & Hold On, Mij Mak & Piers B, Rowlando & Croz, Latchmere Groove and Marshal & Milo add their musical spin and round out what’s sure to be a perfect left-of-centre celebration of all things spooky.
