After a long and productive break, Earthly Measures is back with a new venue and some very special guests!
First up we are very excited to welcome Mr Bongo! From a pioneering record shop to an innovative label, and even delving into cinema on the way, Mr Bongo has done it all! Spanning almost 30 years gracing us with their expertise in all things international. They specialise in Latin, African, Brazilian and everything in between having a real eye for discovering hidden gems and reissuing some of the rarest records there are, engaging audiences to the delights of music from around the world!
Joining Mr Bongo are DJ & Production duo Earthboogie who will bring you their unique blend of international, afro-cosmic & futuristic sounds! With the release of their debut EP Mr Mystery (a huge favourite of ours!) this year on Leng Records, we’re very excited to be inviting this dynamic duo along!
Tim Garcia will round off our guests and there isn’t anyone better equipped to do so, head honcho at online music magazine Musica Macondo & host of a regular slot on Jazz FM his expertise on music from all corners of the globe is unquestionable, we are all in for a treat when he takes the reigns in September!
As usual your Earthly Measures residents will be there to guide you through the night in what should be a very special evening!
