LUMER + Gender Roles + The Mighty Orchid King.

LUMER:
Emerging from the dead industrial underbelly of Hull, LUMER take jaded frustration and push it kicking and screaming into the ears of unassuming crowds. Their frenetic post-punk sound teeters on the verge of losing control.

“Lumer have a dystopian musical aesthetic pitched perfectly somewhere between Bauhaus and Nirvana” – Fred Perry Subculture

”New cut ‘Gruel’, today’s Neu Pick, is aggressive in the extreme, with periods of forced restraint in the verses giving way to unhinged, brutal choruses. It’s a track that leaves nothing to chance.” DIY.

Gender Roles:
Indie-Punk 3 piece playing hazy ear sounds for your mates.

“Their first EP Planet X-Ray is perfectly imperfect, a record you want to listen too from start to finish, repeatedly” Independent Music News.

The Mighty Orchid King:
The Mighty Orchid King is Jonny, Pete, Martin and Michael, four friends who like nothing better than to enter into a fuzzy haze in their practice room and play the music that appears in their collective mind. The band release their debut EP, Nothing Ever Happened, in 2017.
