This Friday July 28th pull up to Shoreditch Platform, jump aboard The Disco Express and groove to a feel good selection of boogie, funk, house and disco.
Surfing the North Atlantic divide, your conductor for the evening will be the incredible Jacques Renault. Jacques is a DJ and producer from the Washington, D.C. area who lives and works in Brooklyn. He runs LET’S PLAY HOUSE, a roving house, disco, and techno party as well as an imprint of the same persuasion, with friend and partner, Nik Mercer. He owns three plants, a rotary mixer, thousands of records, and a similar number of T-shirts. Despite working within the confines of a different genre, Dischord Records is still probably his favorite label.

– Located in the heart of East London, Shoreditch Platform is an exciting new venue less than 10 mins from Old Street, 7 mins from Hoxton Station and 8 mins from Shoreditch Highstreet Station. It’s an intimate and funky attic space, fully kitted with a Funktion One surround sound system and a great view overlooking Kingsland Road.
