Sat Jul 15 – The South London Soul Train unleashes another red hot summer session in funk, soul, groove disco, brass, breaks, beats and hip hop. Your deadly audio host with the most JAZZHEADCHRONIC joined on level 1 by heavyweight Birmingham based brass hop n’ jazz collective, The HEAVY BEATS BRASS BAND [Live] + so much more across 4 floors at The CLF Art Cafe.

HEAVY BEAT BRASS BAND:
Heralding from the Birmingham Conservatoire, Heavy Beat Brass remix modern Jazz, Pop and Funk music with the sounds of a roaring New Orleans brass band. The band is inspired by the heavy drum beats of modern day second line brass music and tonight they will be playing a wide variety of original brassy compositions as well as classic and modern pop tunes remixed with the sounds of a New Orleans brass band, combining jazz influences and improvisation with Hip-Hop & RnB, Drum & Bass, Reggae + much more.
Then on Level 2 – Legendary DJs SNOWBOY and rare audio partner in crime DEAN RUDLAND drop it like it’s hot all night long. Delivering the funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk hard on 45. Dropping the platters that absolutely still matter, til you can’t take it no moh!
Level 3 – S’all about Mukatsuku Records founder, the simply outstanding NIK WESTON & fellow audio beast DJ HUW 72 host – promising another night of blistering eclectic, globalistic groove. Bringing tha audio love, vinyl pressure and as always delivering big time.
The SLST line up completed by Basement residents FIRST WORD & WAH WAH 45’s serving up more delicious piping hot joints from the world wide underground. The absolute finest in soul, funk, groove and boogie dropped without mercy.
