Vesuvio – a hip hop, rnb, dancehall, house, and garage classics club night at The Social | 7th April
Minutes from Oxford Circus, Vesuvio is the new weekly taking over the Social every Friday night.
Reliable like a German whip, we’re here every Friday night until 1am to get you moving.
Downstairs, the basement club plays the best in hip hop, r’n’b, dancehall, house and garage classics. Every now and again we invite a special guest DJ or club takeover whose sole intention is to keep the basement shaking. Bring the squad, it’s Basement Season.
The upstairs bar is the best way to ease your way into the weekend with resident DJs playing blues, reggae, disco, funk, soul and rare groove. With an array of craft beers in the fridge (and a couple on draft), expertly made cocktails, delicious food and an intimate vibe, it’s the perfect spot to bring a date or bring a mate.
Resident DJs:
Zane (eclectic, cool, unflappable dancing facilitator),
Becca (warm-up wonderwoman armed with a lethal bag of afropop),
Tom Caslin (the basement’s resident king cutmaster),
Heavenly Jukebox (DJ arm of Heavenly Recordings).
No guestlist, no screwfaces and get your back up off that wall.
