Sat Mar 25 – Main Squeeze are back once again with their sweat-inducing monthly residency. Boba Fatt & Mo Fingaz joined by Dom Search, one half of The Nextmen for a serious heavyweight hip hop session.
Sat Mar 25 – MAIN SQUEEZE are back once again at The CLF Art Cafe, with their sweat-inducing monthly residency. This month joined by special guest, DOM SEARCH, one half of THE NEXTMEN for another serious heavyweight good time hip hop session and beyond.
DOM SEARCH:
Releasing music into the world for over two decades now, with his Nextmen partner Brad Baloo (with whom there’s been several albums and a whole bunch of singles & remixes), and as producer in his own right, he has worked and collaborated with Blackalicious, Commix, Corrine Bailey Rae, Cutty Ranks, Dynamite MC, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Groove Armada, Plan B, Public Enemy, Rodney P and The Pharcyde, to name but a few.
Dom is a highly-proficient dancefloor wrecker.
BOBAFATT:
BobaFatt has been DJing parties since the early ’90s. His mixes, radio shows and club sets have seen him awarded acclaim over the years from BBC 1Xtra, Mixcloud and Fact Magazine readers. In addition to his regular Itch FM show, he’s recently spun for BBC Radio 6, and is a resident at Soundwave Festival in Croatia, to name but one.
MO FINGAZ:
Mo Fingaz began DJing in the early ’00s, as part of Bristol D&B collective Drive By, and as part of The Snugs, alongside Swaby of The Heavy. These days, when he’s not making beats or digging for breaks, he is resident DJ for London’s longest serving Hip Hop party, The Doctor’s Orders, and a regular player at Hospitality, amongst others.
Main Squeeze combined have four decades experience rocking parties, with cuts of precision and tracks of fusion. Their unmistakable brand of dancefloor murkage incorporates Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, Swing, Soul, Garage, Grime, D&B, Bass and whatever else they manage to squeeze into the session.
Main Squeeze Runs 10pm – 5am on the last sat of each month at the CLF Art Cafe. £5/7/10 Adv or £12 OTD for both floors. Entry to Main Squeeze also gives entry to Bump & Hustle Music with PTA & Jazzie B on Level 1.
