February is upon us. The weather is looking a bit tasty. Icy winds and all the trimmings. It drags you down. Some of us might even feel a bit lost as the winter lingers on and on. An endless sofa of sadness.
By a stroke of luck we happen to be releasing at this very moment the Cocoon in the Park 2017 line –up. For 8 years this first glimpse of summer has warmed our hearts and let loose the sweet juice of anticipation. We hope it works the same way for you.
For one day and one night only you may recall Cocoon in the Park populates the wondrous grounds of Temple Newsam with light, colour and immense sound.
On 8th July our very own Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell will float your boat from around 10 am BST and they will be followed by the the if you don’t now them by now you soon will do Alex & Digby. Richy Ahmed you certainly will know given all the trees he has been pulling up. The total talent that is Joseph Capriati will perform in his slipstream and then for the first time we are delighted to present one of the tallest and finest. Adam Beyer has simply rocked Cocoon Ibiza, he has become an irresistible force. Now Cocoon in the Park. Talking of irresistible force there is only one way to end any Cocoon in the Park.
The mighty Sven Vath will close the show as ever and if the first dates of his World Tour are anything to go by it is going to be a breathless and brilliant finale. Lights blazing, fresh air, thumping sound, grass under your feet and a fat dance under the stars with Sven Vath. It does not get better.
This will be the 9th incredible year of the unique Cocoon in the Park.
