mono_cult return for a one off special – 10th anniversary at Canal Mills | 4th March
One of the UK’s most loved underground promotions is coming back for a one-off reunion party on March 4th at Canal Mills in Leeds. The party features plenty of returning musical favourites and marks ten fine years since the very first event in 2007.
mono_cult started as a small and friendly gathering at The Lounge in Leeds, and was soon a pioneering force on the scene that was known for introducing exciting new house and techno acts to the city. Growing year on year, it went on to become known for its grand New Year’s Day events and large warehouse parties at Canal Mills. Along the way they hosted showcases in Barcelona and became established in London, and the last proper dance was another emotional and colourful sell-out in Leeds on New Year’s Day.
This one-off gathering will bring together all the party people who have made the night so cherished, and promises the same fresh line-ups that have always stood mono_cult apart. It is a special-and probably last ever chance to celebrate with a crew of friendly music lovers in a great environment with a killer sound system.
Headlining will be mono_cult regulars and Italian techno duo Tale of Us, as well as Northern Irish party starters Bicep, who have been playing this party since before they blew up. As if that’s not enough, long time mono_cult favourites and legendary US house act Mood II Swing will be playing in the city for the first time in five years as well as Soundstream who finalises the line up. It will be only their second ever appearance so is another special layer to this already hugely anticipated event.
