Unleash with Christian Burkhardt (Live), Cesar Merveille, Deep-Lo at Light Box | 20th January
We hope you all had a wonderful break, recharged your batteries and are ready for a glorious year ahead!
Our first Unleash session of 2012 is perhaps our biggest one yet – joining us will be two of the most respected names in electronic music, whose production and sets we have been admiring for years!
First off we have the tech house legend, a true sound pioneer and Oslo Records’ main man – Christian Burkhardt. As well as dozens of solo releases and remixes to his name on leading labels from Cocoon to Mobilee, Christian’s ever-evolving live shows have been driving dance floors on nearly every continent. With influences from hip hop, funk and soul to new wave, the German DJ tweaks, layers and twists his sounds differently for every event. This is a very exciting opportunity to be one of the first to see Christian new Live set being played this year!!
Our other guest of honour on the night will be Cadenza’s man of the moment Cesar Merveille. A talented producer and masterclass behind the decks, Cesar has been spinning his way through clubs from Fabric to Space to Watergate. His jazz infused upbeat style has rightly seen him become a dancefloor favourite across the globe. With the impending release of his new album on Seth Troxler’s label Visionquest, 2012 is set to be Cesar’s biggest year yet.
Joining Christian and Cesar in the Main Room will be Unleash residents Deep-Lo and new act Ibellini who many of you may know. In Room Two we have a Special Guest and up & coming duo Proximity gracing us with some groovy deep house.
