Sugarstarr – The Jam

Berlin superstar, Sugarstarr, has received Gold and Platinum awards in a career which has already spanned more than 15 years. Having previously released on labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Subliminal, Positiva, Defected and even Sony, Sugarstarr now bolsters the Jango Music ranks which adds further strength and credibility to an already mammoth House music label.

October 31st sees the release of ‘The Jam’, Sugarstarr’s first release on the French imprint. And what a way to start. Comprising of two club destroyers, ‘The Jam’ comes complete with the ‘Original Acid Mix’ and the ‘Alternative Disco Mix’, both of which are sure to tear the roof off any club. While the former is a slightly harder-edged and deeper affair, the latter takes the filtered disco sample to new levels, but with both backed-up by powerful gospel vocals, energetic percussion and tight production skills, as expected from someone of Sugarstarr’s abilities, don’t be surprised if you hear both at different points on the same night in a club near you. ‘The Jam’ is an essential record for any fan’s collection.

Now thoroughly established, the Jango Music family continues to assert their dominance on the House music scene. Sugarstarr now joins a roster which already includes Damon Grey, Roger Sanchez, Ron Carroll, Robbie Rivera, Eric Prydz and Peverell Bros and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
