Manchester based DJ and producer Mert Butuner is next to answer our 15 rapid questions in 30 seconds.
I have been DJing since 2012 and producing since 2013.
I got involved in the music realm because I’ve always loved music, it’s the best way for me to express myself.
My sound is big room influenced drops and groovy drums combined with emotional breakdowns.
My biggest inspiration is people giving 110% effort every single day in order to reach their goals and make their dreams a reality.
Fans should listen to my music because each track is an expression of thoughts and feelings, my music is a way of communication I would like to have with every listener.

My most memorable career moment so far has been the release of my track called ‘Initiation’.
My dream is to be at a level that I can influence, inspire and lift people up both through music and other means.
My next release is called ‘Follow the Bass’.
My all-time favourite track is ‘Greyhound’ by Swedish House Mafia.
My favourite venue/club is The Warehouse Project, Manchester.
If I weren’t a DJ and producer I’d probably be a video game developer.
I’ll only stop making music if, or when, pigs fly! Haha – Never!
In a few years’ time, I want to be a touring DJ/Producer with his own record label.
