We are buzzin g about having him come to roost and especially play LIVE!. He joins u s to play an exclusive live set which he will be performing across Eur ope in the forthcoming months.\n\nRecent reviews have summarised his s tyle as an ode to the art form of sampling and they are not wrong!. Wi th his signature grainy production\, choice selected vocal samples\, t ight swing patterns and THAT hi hat!!. He just manages to effortlessly work loops perfectly. In his relatively short time he is up there wit h sample masters such as Soundstream.\n\nMore recently he has been pic ked up by Delsin to release the Yeah Come Dance Ep. The title track is a classy beat down groover and crookeds jazz flow is shuffled along w ith the signature hat.\n\nOther tracks dominating the floors from Mr R ead include a recent collaboration with Toronto based Kevin Mcphee Dem olition Man\, you know..the one with the big butts sticker! and a solo outing in the form of a very limited release on Ramp 90's Prostitutio n Racket\, which is pure bliss.\n\n-\n\nNext up is the Mysterious Trev ino\, well he is becoming less of the mysterious each step of the way actually!.\n\nTrevino is the alias of the Marcus Intalex who needs no introduction. James & Tristan have been huge fans of Marcus throughout his D&B career and have spent many a days peddling his 12s in the rec ord shop.\n\nMarcus\, no stranger to house and techno\, always produci ng alongside his D&B productions he has dropped cracking house release s such as Taking Over Me'\, which was released on secretsundaze sample r released last summer.\n\nHis new project as Trevino is based on an a pproach to step away from the trend\, and quite literally experiment a nd let the music do the talking. He first dropped a superb 12 Chip on 3024 which we would you could simply describe as future music. With th e project really in its early days he is already gaining huge respect from artists including Ben UFO\, Scuba\, Paul Woolford\, Boddika to na me but a few.
