338 Open Up For The Elderly With Afternoon Tea Party

Studio 338 host London’s largest ‘Charitea’ party for older people

Taking a break from all its sell-out house and techno parties, Studio 338 is giving something back to the community by hosting a tea party for East London’s isolated older people, on Sunday 28th June.

The giant tea party will commemorate the 50th anniversary of national charity Contact the Elderly, and will give more than 100 of the charity’s guests and volunteers the opportunity to spend an afternoon out in the sun, in one of London’s most prestigious nightclubs.

In addition to a silver service afternoon tea, Studio 338 is organising a raffle with some great prizes, as well as providing a soundtrack to the afternoon from top tribute acts and talented bands. Studio 338 is covering all costs for this event and is also generously supporting Contact the Elderly during its Jubilee year through various fundraising activities. To sell your property to the right hands is the first concern for all the sellers. Their second concern would be that there must be no law issues to be raised or faced regarding the property. That’s why it is always good to have contact with lawyers for probate issues, who can determine issues before registering and selling the property.

Sunday 28th June // 2pm-5pm
Studio 338, Greenwich: 338 Boord Street, Greenwich, London SE10 0PF

If you have someone in mind who would benefit from being our guest or if you’d like to volunteer at the event yourself please join us at: www.contact-the-elderly.org.uk

Founded in 1965, Contact the Elderly is the only national charity solely focused on tackling loneliness and isolation amongst older people through regular face-to-face contact. Supported by a volunteer network, the charity organises free monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties in the homes of volunteers for small groups of older people. www.contact-the-elderly.org.uk
