At the beginning of the year Dalston’s XOYO launched its residency series – 1 year, 4 colossal talents playing 12 consecutive Saturdays each – a very personal return to original club culture and an absolute SHIT TONNE of quality music.
So far the club has enjoyed the incredible skills of Eats Everything. Going above and beyond the call of duty he shattered all expectation, selling out all 12 shows and proving perfectly the relevance of resident DJs in clubland today.
This April the2bears have stepped up to the plate. Joined by the likes of Steve Bug, Henrik Schwarz, Four Tet, Daphni, Huxley and Toddla T – the terrible twosome look set to blow the fackin’ roof off.
This Saturday the bears and XOYO proudly welcome a SERIOUS hero – legendary London producer Andrew Weatherall. Older than your dad and twice as hairy, this man possesses more ‘cool’ in one strand of moustache follicle, than you do in your entire barnet. True fact.
