Given not so long ago we went to great lengths explaining exactly why we can’t wait to be by the sea side, listening to quality house music, techno, electro and associated noises via our aptly titled feature- 5 reasons we can’t wait for The Bugged Out Weekender 2014– it seemed only right that we update you, our loyal readership, on the latest news regarding the event, which by all accounts looks set to be three quality days of late nights, great parties and ice cream. Without further ado then, we shall proceed.
The Bugged Out Weekender 2014 takes place at Pontins in Southport, and runs from next Friday 7th March to Sunday 9th March (we all check out Monday morning). The likes of Sasha, Green Velvet, Andrew Weatherall, Carl Craig, Erol Alkan, Eats Everything, George Fitzgerald, Daniel Avery, James Holroyd, and Dave Clarke are all on the line up, and that’s really just for starters. Unsurprisingly then, with just over seven days until the session begins tickets are looking increasingly scarce.
Only a limited range of accommodations now remain for those looking to get involved for the full weekend, meanwhile day tickets for Friday, Saturday, Sunday or all three (without a roof over your head) have just gone on sale, meaning it should still be possible to bag a spot in the crowd for a good few hours if you can’t rally enough troops together. This being part of Bugged Out!’s 20th anniversary celebrations, though, we’d say it shouldn’t be that difficult to find a few like-minded friends who are equally up for this equation.
