So, word on the street: 8Bit Records founder/ tech house pedlar and general good looker – Germany’s Nick Curly has announced an exciting series of musical events – Nick Curly Presents Trust. The series travels worldwide, running at various special events and festivals, kicking off at BPM Festival in Mexico. The opening show will feature the talents of Visionquest’s Lee Curtiss, Leftroom boss Matt Tolfrey and Special Case. The following party lands in Miami during WMC, an outdoor off-Sonar event. In celebration of this exciting announcement, the lovely Mr Curly is giving away a track. Aptly named ‘Trust’, it features all of Nick’s trademark chunky, loopy, deep and hard-hitting sounds – with the addition of some serious funk.
