For his next trick, the co boss of the impressive MEXA imprint steps up with his own new single. It features touch ups from his fellow label partner Louie Fresco and is riddled with a huge great guitar lick that could come straight from a Pink Floyd album. Whispered vocals help fill in the track and its one of the most epic the label has released to date.
The package comes with a load of remixes, including first up from fast rising Maher Daniel. His version is a scattered percussive work out that really sweeps you off your feet. Next up is German producer Marc Poppcke who goes for something much more aggressive and techno leaning. Still dark and shadowy but this time punchier his version might just be the standout. Giving it a good run for its money is the rhythmically odd and occult sub heavy version supplied by Nicola Cruz. Her version is creepy to be honest, but will sound great in the dead of night.
