The Dub Pistols 2013 ‘White Lines’ Tour

dub-pistols-countermeasureOriginally born out of Barry’s joint DJ sound system in the mid-90s – the Dub Pistols have certainly seen some action.  Still raging after all these years , their infectious brand of big band mayhem continues to dazzle. Be it touring the festival circuit, teaming up with The Specials or playing live shows across the country – Good times are GUARANTEED wherever they go.

Over the years they’ve engaged with a plethora of legendary guest vocalists. The list includes UK hip-hopper Rodney P, Gregory Isaacs, Ashley Slater, Lindy Layton, Justin Robertson, Horace Andy, UK rapper Akala – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Their riotous blend of ska, dub, hip-hop, electro, breakbeat, punk and drum & bass is still unrivalled and unsurpassed in awesome.

Their new and aptly titled album ‘White Lines’, veers more into ‘party album’ territory, than its predecessor – ‘Worshipping The Dollar’. Featuring the awesome talents of reggae don Earl 16, eminent hip-hopper Seanie T, Dark Horizon, Rodney P in-demand rhymer Serocee — as well as regulars TK, Darrison – this one looks to be another cracker!

The band are currently touring the country, so if you haven’t seen them live, then what the hell are you waiting for?!
