This November man, myth and Chicago house maverick, Ron Trent returns to the capital for an epic Need2Soul eight-hour set – a one man party guaranteed to bring down the house at Brixton’s Plan B.
A firm favorite within the Need2Soul collective, Ron Trent sold out the incredible Shoreditch Studios party back in February. He also graced the Need2Soul decks back in May, crowd-pleasing with an almighty b2b session featuring Joe Claussell and Theo Parrish.
Having debuted in Brazil for an all-day Sunday session; and smashed a headline show at the infamous Silver Room Block Party in Chicago – 2013 is shaping up to be a jam packed year. The deep house veteran shows no signs of slowing as he gets straight back into the Need2Soul groove.
An enduring presence on the scene since the early 90’s, Ron Trent is the ultimate record selector, and certainly knows how to keep his crowds moving. His co-founded Prescription Records – a label known for issuing superbly produced dance music – is widely considered to be one of the most influential names in the Chicago house scene.
