For their fourth instalment in their London summer season, secretsundaze has lined up an intimate party, bringing together Lawrence (Dial) and Marcellus Pittman plus world-renowned residents James Priestley and Giles Smith in full effect and making this summer pop. And, having broken their west London cherry last year secretsundaze decided to head back westside to Loft Studios to take over the courtyard and ground floor building adjoining it.
Contrary to previous billing, due to unforeseen circumstances Wbeeza will not be playing at secretsundaze July Summer Party. But secretsundaze have pulled in a more than suitable and heavyweight replacement in the shape of one of their favourite DJs, Lawrence (Dial). Lawrence is definitely one of the scene’s most consistent DJs, with his unique approach to house and techno. His choice as mixer and compiler for Cocoon’s one-off ‘Timeless’ compilation speaks volumes. His appeal as an artist and DJ is indeed evergreen. His label Dial and also affiliated Smallville and Laid imprints with their outstanding vision of music and unique artwork have marked him out as a hugely respected DJ and producer and we are very much excited to have him back at secretsundaze.
Also guesting on this date will be one of the most uncompromising talents from Detroit, Marcellus Pittman. Marcellus or ‘Malik’ as he is also known is one of those very special artists alongside the likes of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite whose productions veer from techno to house to disco and always have that raw, dusty vibe. His solo productions are outstanding and you can hear the influence of jazz and funk as much as house and techno. Of course alongside Moodymann, Parrish and Wilhite he forms the great 3 Chairs who are headlining Dimensions Festival this year.
secretsundaze bring you a stunning intimate party for July with an element of the outdoors – staying true to the original secretsundaze ethos – and lineups that keep the fires burning! Another dope line up in a fantastic open air location.
