Egg hatches into its 10th year…

Pirupa

Few venues have the history and heritage of EGG London. In 2013 the celebrated venue hatches into maturity and turns 10 years old. As such, the team have plenty of plans up their sleeves to make it as memorable as the previous 9 years havebeen for anyone in the know.

The venue has been refurbished for a start, with many considered changes throughout. The dimensions of the rooms have been changed, the capacity has been increased and even the logo has been re-branded to mark the end of club’s first decade.

May and June will be the main month for big birthday bashes, but until then there are plenty of regular weekly parties that invite top DJs from across the electronic spectrum including new school talents and older veterans as well as some fine underground labels. Said music is strictly house and techno and in the coming weeks will see the likes of Felix da Housecat (Feb 8) Christian Smith (Feb 9) Mark Farina (Feb 16) Yousef, Pirupa and Hot Since 82 (Feb 22) Ewan Pearson and Terry Francis (Feb 23) DJ Sneak and D’Julz (Mar 1) techno types Perc and Shifted (Mar 22) , and many more all play events hosted by weekly brands like Circus, Heroes, X Project and others including a night hosted by Layo & Bushwacka!

EGG London is not a tourist hotspot; it’s a place regulars come to meet their rave family, where the atmosphere is always warm and the music on point and the staff are proud to work: EGG is about the right music, right people, right attitude.

As well as all this, be sure to keep an eye on the website as it is being updated with great new content on a regular basis, and will be the first place to find out about the plans we have for this, out 10th year…
