After the successful debut of The Hydra, a series of 12 events in London, Electric Minds and Broken & Uneven are continuing their collaboration in 2013, this time adding some new and exciting international destinations to the line-up.
Electric Minds kicks off the year in style with the Dimensions Festival Warm-Up Party (2nd March) Headlining the event is one of the most prolific House producers of recent years, Motor City Drum Ensemble. His DJ Kicks mix compilation reiterated exactly why he’s one of the most in demand jocks around.
On Friday 8th March Electric Minds is making a pilgrimage to Berlin, the home of Techno. The man behind the label’s most recent release, Move D, will headline this show at the legendary Panorama Bar.
Heading into Easter (28th March) Broken and Uneven team up with Berlin’s premier Techno labels Ostgut Ton and 50 Weapons. Leading the charge for Ostgut Ton is long-standing resident Marcel Fengler, joining him will be label-mates Barker & Baumecker. They will be playing a live set re-creating the magic of their standout Transsektoral album. Gritty techno and dark and dirty party vibes to be expected.
Electric minds storms through the bank holiday (5th May) with the official launch party for Steffi’s Panorama Bar 5 mix CD. This sees one of the clubs most celebrated residents follow in the footsteps of Tama Sumo, Prosumer and Nick Hoppner to curate a compilation mix for the Berlin nightclub. Supporting her on the night will be Andres, AKA DJ Dez of Slum Village. Last year the Detroit native took a giant leap with the launch of his La Vida imprint. You can expect a healthy blend of Disco, Funk and off-kilter House from him on the night.
Electric Minds then takes the magic to Barcelona hosting an exclusive off-Sonar party at Be Cool with Mono_cult (12th June) Also enlisted are London’s most in-demand duo, Bicep. joining them will be Move D, 90’s House aficionado Prosumer and Disco don Soundstream.
The next stop is Croatia for the Dimensions Festival (5th September) Headlining the stage will be Innervisions co-founder Dixon, with support from Move D and Prosumer.
Never forgetting their roots, Electric Minds head back to London for some serious Birthday celebrations (5th October). With a line-up that boasts the likes of Move D, Kassem Mosse, Prosumer, Fred P it’s sure to be a cracker.
Electric Minds ends one of their busiest years to date on January 1st with an epic blow out. Joining founder and resident Dolan Bergin will be some very special guests so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, these will be announced closer to the date.
