With less then week to go now, Bugged Out is pleased to announce the final additions to the 2013 bill, including the unconventional instrumental collective Clean Bandit, who are known for playing every note of their shows live, and Mala, whose 2012 Mala In Cuba album featured heavily across Best Album lists at the end of last year.

Joining them will be Jack Savidge – Friendly Fires drummer and one half of Deep Shit alongside Edwin from Foals – Zed Bias, original pioneer of underground dance music best known for his all-time classic Garage track Neighbourhood, and finally one of 2012’s breakthrough acts Huxley, who has gone from underground garage producer to rising house star, putting out releases with everyone from Hypercolour to 20:20 Vision.

To celebrate 25 years of Acid House, Sunday will be Acid House Fancy Dress Day. With legendary figures in house music Frankie Knuckles, Dave Clarke, Ivan Smagghe and Andrew Weatherall providing the ideal soundtrack, think raves in fields, hippy-wear, crazy colours, flared trousers, dungarees, beads, peace and hats for inspiration. Plus best acid house girl and boy will win a pair of tickets to the 2014 Bugged Out Weekender.

Bugged Out isnow in its 18th year making it one of the UK’s longest running club nights. Bugged Out! boasted LFO at their first night back in November 1994 and since then they’ve had everyone from Daft Punk, Green Velvet, The Chemical Brothers, Richie Hawtin, Tiga, Boys Noize and Carl Craig play at their nights.  As well as running club nights in the UK and Europe, Bugged Out has become a major part of London’s Field Day festival and has also released acclaimed compilations – Erol Alkan releases Another Bugged Out Mix with them this September.

As with last year, Bugged Out! will be welcoming a host of club partners to help curate the Weekender. So far confirmed are Union, who will be returning for a second year, Urban Nerds, who over the past four years have risen in the ranks of underground clubbing to become one of London’s biggest bass brands and Krankbrother, whose penchant for hosting parties in unused and special locations such as rooftops, yachts and railway arches will see them take on a new distinctive location in the form of Butlins. Joining them will be Junk Department, whose forward-thinking musical policy, meticulous attention to detail and enthusiasm has seen them blaze a trail over the clubbing industry in recent years and Bristolian house club Just Jack who have gone from strength-to-strength from humble beginnings.

“The dance scene is pushing the boundaries like no other genre of late and the weekender will reflect and capture this.” – Bugged Out
