This New Year’s Eve Urban Nerds line up the ultimate rave, bringing together some of the year’s brightest stars – and going bold with Redlight, Bondax, Breach and Dark Sky, and more than 20 acts and another host still to be announced!

Urban Nerds present a jaw-dropping lineup, representing a cross-section of underground sounds to craft a 360 degree journey through UK bass and its modern house and 4×4 counterparts. Joining forces with Essex promoters and music heads Kool Kids Klub and Camberwell’s ballsy upfront promoter Church for the ultimate NYE party, Urban Nerds have a lot of tricks to reveal between now and party time – including another host. And they’re getting started with a bang!

Redlight’s jet-propelled bangers that stretch house, bass, garage and beyond make him a massive addition to the Urban Nerds NYE lineup. Consistently pumping out dancefloor destroyers, a high-energy show on Rinse FM and storming the UK and Europe with his unique DJ sets, the Redlight heat is spreading fast.

Kicking it back to the ’90s with their seriously garage-infused production, duo Bondax create an eargasm of delight, blending sexy vocals with chopped-up beats, exposing the sweeter side of bass. Fresh from their first release that sent the scene wild, Bondax are the newcomers you don’t want to miss, as they smash one addictive tune after another.

Cutting up some of the sickest beats and sounds of the summer, Breach – Ben Westbeech’s alter ego – is not only a skilled producer, but his talent for track selection will also have ravers’ feet firmly planted to the floor this NYE. Huge respect has been building for this beat architect, and now you can see why.

The grimey, bassy, batty shaking sounds of Dark Sky will have the ground pumping as hard as the speakers. Tom, Matt and Carlo make up this production machine, whose genuine love for what they do can be felt through their inspired DJ sets that crack garage, house, drum’n’bass and hip hop into an experimental, multi-textured music experience.

Urban Nerds has risen in the ranks of underground clubbing to become one of London’s boldest brands. James Benenson, James Rompani and Mark Hodson share a love for music, and a vision of changing the landscape of London nightlife. As Urban Nerds they are renowned for events with a great atmosphere, a strong and loyal crowd and an unashamed love for bass-led party sounds that set them apart from their peers. This year they celebrated turning five with a party featuring Newham Generals, Rudimental, Gorgon City and Klashnekoff. And their Notting Hill Carnival warm-up party boasted Breakage, Mala & Coki, Kode9, Jackmaster and The Heatwave. They’ve been an official club parter to Snowbombing for five years, have hosted rooms at Fabric and have taken their unique brand of UK bass to Hideout, Outlook, Glastonbury and Standon Calling festivals. Pushing into 2013, Urban Nerds are heading to the Bugged Out Weekender.

For New Year’s Eve Urban Nerds always pull together their biggest party – one of the most anticipated and exciting events in London. Nerds NYE is known for taking over daring and unusual spaces and bringing together cracking lineups, and this year the celebration arrives at The Sidings Warehouse in London Bridge, a four-arched tunnel that will host three rooms of sound and offers unique sound and lighting capabilities – as well as the comfort of proper bars and real toilets.

Joining the party from Southend-on-Sea, Kool Kids Klub go head-to-head with Urban Nerds for a special versus lineup in Arch 1. Having hosted Joy Orbison, Julio Bashmore, Mosca, MJ Cole and Toddla T, they come to London, and they’re ready to make a noise, with Redlight and Bondax kicking things off.

Originating in the basement of a Church in Camberwell just under two years ago, Church has gone from strength to strength, hosting Marcellus Pittman, Juan Atkins, Boddika, Objekt, Mark Henning, Koreless, Pariah and Midland. Founders Seb Wildblood and Apes have recently launched the Church label, with releases from Lorca, Happa, Rumah and more coming soon. Church takes over Arch 2 for NYE, with Breach and Dark Sky heading things up.

With the host for third arch yet to be announced, and another 20 acts still to come, there’s still so much more to uncover from the Urban Nerds lab, simmering away, and planning their best NYe party yet.

Nerds style is the only way to see in New Years Eve 2012, a bass-laden party coming in full force with some of the biggest beat connoisseurs of the moment. Make sure you’re a part of it!
