Camiel Daamen arrives to the forefront of Edu Imbernons Eklektisch label and certainly catches the eye with summery house vibes. Recently producing tracks for the likes of Flash, Piekip and Klofgeist – Camiel has come into his own as of late supplying us with his own stamp on the house culture. His tendency to have a happy theme to his music and his use of instrumental elements have not gone unnoticed.
Lost in Love certainly follows the before mentioned statement and opts for that summer anthem, which is getting huge props from some of the big house players. The remixes come from other angles. Nacho Marco goes down the Chicago house route applying classic high hats and a deep outtake. The third option is that of Spanish artists Los Suruba who goes for that more main room 2am track. It has a darker and punchy bassline which adds a piercing effect.
All in all the three piece EP offers different outlets for different occasions which in turn makes the release more rounded. Solid effort from the trio!
