We at Plain and Simple would like to bring your attention to a blog post on the website of Shoreditch club East Village….
Just over a year ago, the wonderful Kenny Hawkes passed away, something that was felt here at P&S. East Village in July 2011 held a benefit event in his honour to raise money for family and causes related to Kenny.
Well a year has passed and those closest to him have decided to release 4 and a half hours of live recordings from this benefit event, but only to those who donate to the British Liver Trust, on a page set up in his name.
We think this is an amazing way to honour and remember someone who was obviously so important in the lives of his friends and family. As well as raise money for the charity who strive to improve the lives of so many, it also keeps Kenny’s name alive in such a positive way.
