More additions to the Bugged Out Weekender Line Up.

Bugged Out have announced more names to the burgeoning 2013 bill, including Boys Noize, who will be unleashing his inimitable brand of grandiose, high-octane techno infused electro on Bognor Regis Butlins, Annie Mac, whose eponymous BBC Radio 1 show and Annie Mac Presents nights have become national institutions in showcasing the best in new music, and UK dubstep pioneer Benga, who will be performing an exclusive live set at this years Weekender. Having been championed by Annie Mac right from the start, Benga has paved the way for dubstep worldwide by way of bass music super group Magnetic Man. Fellow member Skream is also newly confirmed for 2013.

Making up the continental contingent at the Weekender will be Parisian DJs Brodinski and Gesaffelstein. With floor-filling central to their agenda, the Bromance label mates have pushed a sound that is as eclectic as it is genre-defying, mixing up everything from hip-hop to minimal, bass and acid house, complete with an up-front, party-friendly attitude.

Other additions include one of the most exciting producers to emerge from the underground in the last year, Blawan, Fabric resident and Bugged Out favourite Daniel Avery, and upcoming producer Dusky who’s seminal track ‘Flo Jam’ has proved a huge hit this summer.

Widely respected and considered to be one of the original pioneers of house, Frankie Knuckles has helped to shape the genre as we know it. DJ at the famed Warehouse in Chicago from 1977 to 1982 – the venue that gave the genre its name – this rare set is not to be missed and is a welcome addition to the Bugged Out Weekender line up.

As with last year, Bugged Out! will be welcoming a host of club partners to help curate the Weekender. Among the first to be confirmed are Urban Nerds, who over the past four years have risen in the ranks of underground clubbing to become one of London’s biggest bass brands and Krankbrother, whose penchant for hosting parties in unused and special locations such as rooftops, yachts and railway arches will see them take on a new distinctive location in the form of Butlins. Joining them will be Junk Department, whose forward-thinking musical policy, meticulous attention to detail and enthusiasm has seen them blaze a trail over the clubbing industry in recent years and Bristolian house club Just Jack who have gone from strength-to-strength from humble beginnings.

Early bird tickets are now available and will be on sale until Wednesday 27th July. There are a limited number of £100 tickets (for silver rooms) available through Butlins and all other rooms have 20% off the ticket price: http://www.bigweekends.com/splash-pages/bugged-out-weekender.aspx
