Manchester biggest autumnal party is set to come back larger than ever for its 2012 events series, with the crew responsible now having relocated to a new, or rather old industrial venue in the city’s suburbs, which has been gutted, remodelled, and kitted out especially for a rave. Expect cavernous rooms and dark second soundsystems (or at least we do after making it to Easter’s unveiling earlier this year).
No prizes for guessing but we are, of course, talking about The Warehouse Project, which now finds itself in a third home on Trafford Park Rd, Trafford Park, M17 1AB– that’s just a mile or two from its former address of Store Street, beneath Piccadilly Railway Station. Friday September 28th sees the next set of bashes kick off, with an almighty lineup drafted in to also help celebrate Rinse FM’s 18th Birthday. Expect Diplo, Boy Better Know, Kode 9, Person Sound, Jackmaster, Loefah, Marcus Nasty, Icicle, Oneman, Roska, Ben UFO, Elijah and Skilliam, P Money, Zinc, and far more names than we can fit on here to be delivering beats, breaks, and any other defining aspect of bass music.
One day later, so Saturday September 29th, and the same venue will host a distinctly more four four oriented bill, including Nicolas Jaar, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles back2back with Heidi, Maceo Plex, Four Tet, Ben Klock, Scuba, Andrew Weatherall, and Jacques Greene, though this really just scratches the surface. Tickets for both events range from £22.50 (Friday) and £25 (Saturday) to £28, with bookings currently being taken right now on the end of this link.
