Now on the 4th Mixmag Live show, the MM guys certainly aren’t resting on their laurels when it comes to the talent they are selecting for their line ups! Tonight is no exception as over at Village Underground in Shoreditch, they bring you one of the inspiring and exciting acts to emerge from the modern day dance music scene: Visionquest.
Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss are the DJs and producers behind the Visionquest project and label. As individuals, all have accomplished more than most DJs can dream of, regularly playing the world’s biggest clubs and releasing tracks on the planet’s best labels. When they come together as Visionquest, their talents combine to create a unique, dreamy, deep electronic house sound that oozes class. Having grown up listening to everything from Motown to disco and Detroit techno, Visionquest productions and DJ sets are soulful and spiritual, while being firmly aimed at the dancefloor.
If this wasn’t enought those attending tonight’s shebang will also receive a copy of the June issue of Mixmag. It will be quite a collector’s piece, as not only will Visionquest star on the cover and mix the esteemed cover CD – the boys will also be guest-editing ten pages in the magazine.
