Back in March we gave you the news of a new monthly Thursday night from Matthew B (Bushwacka!) starting up over at Basing House called The Roots. Well, its now May and the night is still very much in full swing – tempting people from far and wide for some quality aural pleasures on a school night… We are loving this night.

The ethos behind the night is that the music played is purely vinyl based (Matthew sir! We salute you!) and centred around tunes from 1987-1990 and…  They have already welcomed Mr C and Evil Eddie Richards to play the first 2 events and this month’s special guest is Colin Dale. To call Colin Dale “legendary” is no over-estimation. Here is a DJ that has been one of London’s most cutting edge DJ’s for over 20 years and still continues to surprise and marvel.
