FOUND returns for the Summer… on a house and techno tip!

FOUND announces its spring/summer 2012 season, with six events that lead the way in innovative and creative programming. Continuing its tradition of working with the hottest club names and promoters, and booking emerging talent tipped for big things, FOUND just keeps evolving!
It’s the careful music programming, and dynamic collaborations that have earned FOUND a place in the hearts of young clubbers. Having championed the deeper side, FOUND sets out to explore the most intriguing and exciting club sounds, with a focus this time on the evolution of house music and the new techno movements.
The first quarter of 2012 saw FOUND break boundaries, consistently booking high-level, forward-thinking lineups that have become characteristic of the brand. Highlights included the massive UK garage resurgence event Heritage, which blurred the boundaries of UK bass and brought together the likes of DJ EZ and Sticky with the freshest UK talent including Mosca and Dusky for one of the most hyped events of the year so far.
Quarter 2 kicks off on May 11th with the return of much-loved resident TRIX, this time going back-to-back with much-lauded club night of the moment Streets of Beige for a night of house and techno from the UK and Europe – TRIX & Streets of Beige present Clone: Basement Series x Royal Oak. With Untold, Gerd, Conforce and Genius of Time this will be rammed.
FOUND then goes weekly throughout June, beginning with the return of Heritage on June 1st. The lineup is still under wraps, but hold tight – this is going to be BIG! And FOUND has a treat in store with a soon-to-be-announced special event on June 8th.
On June 15th Blink makes its debut, showcasing artists from Berlin’s Fachwerk including Mike Dehnert and celebrating the label’s 25th release. Audio Doughnuts returns on June 22nd – with Drums of Death playing a London-exclusive full live AV lightshow. Then Blink is back on June 29th with a Glass Table showcase and some special guests coming soon.
And book ahead as FOUND goes BOLD with an arena at Eastern Electrics Festival 2012 on Clapham Common on August 4th. Embarking on its first event outside of its Hidden home, FOUND will present some of the hottest electronic music acts, blurring the boundaries between house, techno and the progressive, bass-derived UK sound. FOUND has already lined up Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Dusky and Alfie – and there’s a headliner and three other acts still to come. BOOM!
This season FOUND is going to be EPIC!
