Grinderman drop remix album, UNKLE’s video streaming here

For those less versed in the world of scuzzy rock n roll complete with commanding lead vocals Nick Cave is the critically acclaimed genius behind Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. As a band they have been touring since the 80s, growing to become one of the world’s most revered guitar outfits along the way.

Aside from this the chap in question also heads up Grinderman, a band that, on March 26th, released Grinderman 2 RMX, a collection of re-workings from the likes of Robert Fripp, Josh Homme, Cat’s Eyes, Factory Floor, and Matt Berninger of The National. Obviously this isn’t the most electronically oriented list of artists in the book, until you get to James Lavelle and Tim Goldsworthy’s much-loved U.N.K.L.E. outfit. The pair were also involved, and we’ve got the impressive video to prove it, embedded for you below. Enjoy, and when you’re done there maybe click here to check out a full stream of the re-imagined record, which is currently available at The Guardian.
