mulletover’s 8th Birthday approaches, with Carl Craig and more

It seems once next month arrives we won’t be able to move for huge lineups in London. Of course that’s not necessarily a bad thing, at least when they boast the kind of names this particular bash does.

mulletover celebrates eight years of soirees on April 5th, which is a Thursday, but rest assured the event conveniently coincides with the lengthy, double-header Bank Holiday that is Easter, meaning we can party like its, well, Friday or something. That should be pretty easy, given the fact Detroit legend and all round techno father figure Carl Craig will be performing his acclaimed live show, ’69’.

On top of that there are also plenty of new-school treats, with last year’s runaway success story Maya Jane Coles arriving to play records in the same room, with Aus Music men George Fitzgerald and Midland bringing some tunes down for the back soundsystem too. Meanwhile, music journalist turned Berlin resident producer Gavin Hearlihy (whose cuts have dropped on Crosstown Rebels and Culprit to name but two imprints), and resident DJ Geddes are also on the bill. Quite a hearty feast then- the perfect way to end lent- you’ll find full details of the shindig, which will take place at an as yet undisclosed location, below and tickets are on sale at the end of this link, priced (rather confusingly) between £12.50 and £25.
