Fabric to host new Monolake live audio-visual show

Robert Henke, for those who are yet to be introduced, is something of a Steve Reich. Whether it’s a post as professor of sound design at Berlin University of the Arts, or any of his groundbreaking performances, few can argue with the notion that he makes intelligent electronic music.

Monolake is his Live Surround Project, which started life in 2009 when he began collaborating with visual composer Tarik Barri, and takes the form of live music with real time immersive video. The Ghosts In Surround is the latest extension of this concept, and will be showcased at Fabric on Thursday March 1st.

A date for your diary then, on the night those looking for something more DJ oriented won’t be disappointed either, as Peverelist will be acting in support, along with Fabric’s main man Craig Richards. With a line up like that the word distinguished springs to mind, so this is one event that really will be incomparable. Tickets available by clicking here and full details are below, along with some Monolake videos to explain why this is all going to be so special, and a little bit spooky.
