Outlook Festival launch party takes over Ewer Street Carpark later this month.

Outlook festival is fast becoming one of the hottest festivals on the European calendar. Set in a fort by the sea in the beautiful Croatian sunshine, last year saw them win best European Festival at the Festival awards, with a stellar bass and dub-heavy line up. Later this month they are set to hold their launch party for 2012. But it’s not going to be held in an ancient fort, no, they’re taking over Ewer Street Car Park. Get ready for bass Outlook style London.

Three huge soundsystems will take over the arches of Ewer Street. Arch One hosts the Iration Steppas Soundsystem, with Iration Steppas, Logan Sama, Vivek, Quest, J Kenzo, The Dubateers Ft Charlie P, Planas Ft Jila and Evergreen.

Arch 2 is taken care of by Mungo’s HiFi and will welcome The Bug & Daddy Freddy, Congo Natty, Benny Page, Alix Perez and Spectrasoul. And arch 3 has Noise Control Audio at the controls with Darksky, Lil Silva, George Fitzgerald, Girl Unit, Fantastic Mr Fox and Elphino, Marcus Nasty, Klose One and Boyson all ready to show us what Outlook is all about.

The festival takes place from the 30th August to the 3rd September this year. But the Outlook head honchos aren’t stopping there. They’ve also announced the launch of a new festival Dimensions, which will take place at the same venue the very next week. They’ll also be a special ticket that covers both festivals, so you could stay for 10 days and have few days off sandwiched between two headonistic weekends.  Dimensions promises to take in a more varied musical spectrum that that of Outlook, and according to the organisers its like “Outlook’s hot sister; You definitely would even if we do say so our self.” We’re pretty intriqued to see what’s on offer.

We’ll let you know more news on both festivals when we get them.
