The Whip, Delphic, Evil Nine and Attaque set for Manchester Party

This weekend sees the start of a new northern night, Free Range, served from the hands behind London based electro and techno label Bad Life. In suitable launch event fashion there’s a stellar lineup that’s going to take some beating, meaning if you’re in the area this is one that should definitely be considered.

Marine Parade legends Evil Nine (pictured) will be in the house, making for a rather rare appearance in Manchester by all accounts. On top of that, hotly tipped future-techno head Attaque will be making his UK debut appearance by delivering the first live show he’s ever performed, while capping things off for the label will be Autokratz, whose recent Heart Attack Man EP bagged Mixmag’s track of the month for January, and remixes for Underworld, Fischerspooner and Make Model are also worth a look.

On top of that there will also be a local contingency, with none other than critically acclaimed electronic act The Whip celebrating Christmas by spinning records, and Dan Hadley, of revered rising synth band Delphic, also playing a few to a no-doubt expectant crowd. The venue being used for this bout of December merriment is The Zoo, located on Grosvenor Street, in the heart of Manchester’s universities. Full details can be found below, while tickets are on sale at the end of this link.
