This weekend sees one of the most reliable, and not-to-be-missed names in British club culture launch his new album in Room Two of Farringdon’s most famous venue, alongside a solid lineup of similarly minded DJs who’ll be sharing said soundsystem. Better yet, we’ve got a complimentary set for you to own and love, a perfect accompaniment to any warm up session ahead of the date.
So Luke Slater’s The Messenger– produced under his pseudonym Planetary Assault Systems for Ostgut Ton- just arrived, and reminded us all why you can’t really fault the man for heavy, mainroom, moody-but-rolling action. To celebrate he’ll be heading up the bill for anyone present on Fabric’s second dancefloor this Saturday, November 19th. Alongside the man himself, who’s playing live, Marcel Fengler will be dropping a few tracks, as will Shifted.
Aside from that Room One sees things on take a lighter route, with Dyed Soundorom DJing, while dOP, and masomenos live. And, as if that wasn’t quite enough resident legend Terry Francis, Evil Eddie Richards, and Lula Circus will be keeping things bouncing in the back. Top lineup, full details of which are below, and you can read an interview with Mr Slater over at the club’s website, whereas the free mix is accessible by following the instructions below.
