Carl Craig, Riva Starr and Friendly Fires hit Cumbria for Uber

The UK’s got its fair share of clubbing cities, whether it’s Glasgow, Birmingham, London or Manchester. In contrast Carlisle may appear to be a calmer town, but as this weekend proves its always the quiet ones you need to watch out for.

This Saturday, 19th November sees a smack-you-in-the-face-with-kick-drum lineup come together for Uber’s 5th Birthday. Arriving in ‘the capital of Cumbria’ for what promises to be an almighty night of hedonistic action will be Planet E and Detroit legend Carl Craig, who will no-doubt deliver the quality goods as per usual, what with numerous decades spent on the decks behind him. And the highlights don’t end there either, as mashup head Riva Starr will also be on hand to provide tunes on a funkier tip.

Alongside those two revered faces are the Friendly Fires, who’s DJ duties have seen them make waves in recent years, while the !K7 mix they compiled further cements their place amongst the few musicians who can actually play records. On top of that you can also catch The Warehouse Project’s Krysko, Adam Bradley of Homegrown Music, Ginny Koppenhol, We Take Polaroids, Ki Creighton, Lee Clark and Jamie G, as these guys will be on hand with music too. Full details below, tickets are on the end of this link, and for all things Uber click here.
