Joel Mull Sensory remixes en route

We do like a good package brimming with reworkings and alternative versions. And when each production takes inspiration from the original work of a guy that has graced these pages time and time again this year then the news is going to be welcomed with even greater fervour.

In February we reviewed Sensory, Joel Mull’s latest album on Drumcode’s sister imprint, Truesoul. Back then we loved the LP, and have continued to hammer it since. Obviously aware of the release’s quality we gave the producer a call in April, and in between then and now he’s put out at least one collaborative single with Cari Lekebusch that caught our eye, while appearing on one of the best mixes unveiled this summer (Fabric 58: Craig Richards presents The Nothing Special). All of this means that when remixes of that long-player arrive from Dustin Zahn, Aril Brikha, Steve Rachmad, Heiko Laux, and Agaric we’ll be more than made up. Scheduled to be available on November 7th, again via Truesoul, it should be interesting to see how things could possibly have been improved.
