FRIDAY 8TH JULY

  1. A Private Party With Derrick Carter: Tonight you are treated to an exclusive all-night performance from Chicago house legend Derrick Carter!!  The Chicago veteran is flying in for a very special ‘Derrick Does Disco Dammit’ set, this is the first time he has ever explored his passion for disco… In his own words: ‘I want to play from the moment the doors open, until the mad rush to the toilets at the end of the night!’ Eek! ‘sitin’!!! The event will take place in a unique, private East London space, with a… Wait for it… GIANT DISCO BALL and bespoke sound system. The venue details will be kept secret right up until the day of the event when they will be sent to ticket holders.  Tiger beer is sponsoring this event so I think you can be damn sure of a few freebies.  If you’ve managed to bag a ticket for this you are very lucky indeed!
  2. EarToGround present … Dario Zenker-Marco Zenker, Ilian Tape Label Invasion! Reaching out of Munich and the highly acclaimed ‘Harry Klein’ camp, Ilian Tape has been putting out high quality Techno since 2007.  In other words… Prepare yourself for some Techno rumbles at East Village later this evening! Ilian Tape is run by brothers Dario and Marco Zenker, regular releases on the label can be found from the likes of Jonas Kopp and Franco Cinelli. Do not miss this rare opportunity to see these talented brothers perform together as they bring the unique and exciting sound of Harry Klein to the East End for the 1st time in London! The brothers will be joined by residents Chris Stanford and Gareth Wild.
  3. 4. Phonica, Streets Of Beige and Nonsense present at TBA: This is a one-off collaboration between the famous Soho record shop, promoters Streets of Beige and Plastic People’s Nonsense night.  Tonight they are loading a Funktion One soundsytem into a very secret location for the the UK debut of Future Times’s synth-wave duo Beautiful Swimmers. And they’re joined by Funkineven, Soft Rocks and special guest and Detroit techno/house dons Kyle Hall. Very nice indeed!
