An extraordinary fortress on the wonderful Adriatic coast with a delicious portion of electronic dance music…that’s SIRUP NATION
After a few flamboyant summer seasons partying the hell out of various hot spots on the Croatian Adriatic coast and testifying the upcoming festival rush, we plunge this summer with a new adventure and a new brand…SIRUP NATION, a three day festival at the monumental Punta Christo fortress near the town of Pula.
A fresh selection of electronic music acts with a spice of underground, typical for the crew from Sirup and their well known dancefloor vibe. SIRUP NATION stars the guys from Hot Chip. They’re coming back to Croatia for the second time, after their live performance at the 2008. edition of Zagreb’s In Music Festival, but this time with their praised DJ set.
British house champion Ewan Pearson also appears as one of the headliners along with NYC new superstar Levon Vincent. SIRUP NATION pushes the limits with the french DJ icon Ark, Swiss Lad and the charismatic Chilean/German producer and DJ Dandy Jack , but also with one of the best DJ’s around, Chris Duckenfield, Sirup’s greatest international friend along with Jimpster – another great buddy. Uzuri Recordings floor hosted by Tevo Howard and Jus Ed is will be preparing another exquisite groove selection…

Enjoy this slice of information, because with seven stageas in three days, more music acts will be announced in the upcoming weeks… Another exclamation point about SIRUP NATION is the location where it’ll be held. Fort Punta Christo is an austro-hungarian fortress from the 19th century and a part of the world known fortification system built in Pula. It’s situated near the village of Štinjan, at the peninsula of Puntižela, at the northern entrance of the Pula bay…
Last summer the fortress hosted the popular Outlook Festival and stunned the attendants with the mixture of a mystical atmosphere, hot summer nights and eccellent music – a recipe for some great time…
