Black Strobe Records launches

Arnaud Rebotini- the mastermind behind that ‘frozen balearic gay biker house’ sound- has started a new imprint. With that in mind, get ready for some pretty big tunes.

Taking its name from the pioneering partnership he struck with Ivan Smagghe, Black Strobe Records arrives with an appealing release schedule already in the pipeline. First up is Rebotini’s Personal Dictator on April 11th, followed by All You Need Is Techno on May 9th. There will also be a follow up to his 2009 album, Music Components Vol 1, and a re-release of the classic monster, Italian Fireflies.

Further into the future fans can hold tight for a new EP from the namesake act, alongside a Best of LP boasting 13 years of work. As the clip below should immediately show, it’s an oeuvre of original productions worth investigation if you haven’t already, and that’s before you mention the remixes for acts ranging from Depeche Mode to Royksopp. So, without further ado, have a listen, and watch this space for more updates.
