Miami Ultra Music Festival 2011

Since 1999 the Miami Ultra Music Festival has grown to become a renowned dance and electronic music Mecca, coinciding with the Winter Music Conference, making Miami the only place to be if you’re a die-hard dance music fanatic.

For the first time since it’s inauguration twelve years ago the Ultra Music Festival will be taking place a fortnight after the Winter Music Conference. In a statement issued to fans, sponsors and organizers UMF explained the reasons for the change has been due to both events being unable to secure host hotel locations and conference locations on the same week/weekend.

Nevertheless, both will be going ahead and both remain two of the biggest global events in the dance music calendar. With the excellent news that the festival has expanded to three days this year, the Ultra Music Festival includes 32 hours of more than 300 artists, DJs and bands programmed on 30 stages collectively – and the lineup is impressive to say the least.

Headliners at this year’s Ultra Music Festival are as big as they come with UMF regular Tiesto, Deadmau5 and The Chemical Brothers gracing the main stage as the three night finales.
