New album from Agoria en route

The elec-techno studio stalwart has announced details of a new full-length production release, which should arrive very soon indeed. It’s his fourth artist outing, and the latest word on the street after everyone got wind of the Frenchman’s forthcoming Fabric mix.

Sebastien Devaud, as Agoria is probably known to friends and family, will unveil Impermanence on February 7th, through Infine Music. But what’s really bound to get the house-gossips a chuntering like pensioners trapped in their own memories is the news that Kid A, Seth Troxler and even some guy called Carl Craig all offer vocal appearances on the ten-tracker.

After rocketing to international notoriety with two 12″ releases on Pias sometime in 2002, the young Kevin Saunderson fan from the Gallic sticks, turned remixer and aural arranger extraordinaire, has gone on to chart an impressive number of dancefloor targeted bombs, each delivered with a mildly uncomfortable edginess designed to propel and intrigue anyone in earshot.

On top of that, anyone who has heard his celebrated At the Controls mix album will know, he’s not a bad DJ either. Suffice to say then, we’re looking forward to bringing you the review soon. Below is one of those early tracks, Sky Is Clear, with some animation courtesy of Dreets 11. If you’re out and about in Central London this weekend and fancy a bit of this, then head to Fabric on Saturday where Agoria, Sascha Dive, Mr C, Sandwell District and Adam Shelton will be amongst the guests joining Terry Francis.
