FOEM and Robert Babicz remix competition

How does winning a full label release, and a year’s subscription to Sound Cloud Pro sound? How about a year with a Lite Sound Cloud account, and two of your tracks professionally mastered for coming second place?

Pretty good, we imagine. Or at least for all the laptop composers out there it does. And that’s precisely what Robert Babicz and music agency FOEM are offering to the lucky few. And just in case the producer’s name isn’t ringing immediate bells, his track record began in Cologne circa 1993. Since then he’s established labels like Shortcut and Junkfood, while still finding the time to release work on institutions such as Kompakt. Oh, and he’s been responsible for producing Native Instruments presets, which is impressive to say the least.

All you need to do (ahem), is take the original version of Remote Kiss, and turn it into something that both has your personality, and enough quality to pass the taste test, which will be conducted by Babicz and his trusted comrades. Once that’s done you could find yourself with a release on the studio-wizard’s Babiczstyle Records mid-2011, or in receipt of your own work mastered by the man himself, in addition to the other aforementioned prizes. The competition closes on March 8th, and full details of how to enter are here.
